Tackle Football Season runs August - November, with practice beginning August 1st and games beginning in September. Games take place Saturdays and Sundays. The season runs through the end of October, with playoffs taking play early November. All teams will play a minimum of seven games.
Football is open to grades 5 - 8. Practices take place Monday - Friday (practice varies by age level/coaching schedule).
FZS Jr Bulldogs plays in the JrGAC League. To learn more about the JrGAC, read their by-laws or find them on 'X'.
Equipment -
FZS Jr. Bulldogs will provide football pants, pads, helmet, and reversible jersey. Player is responsible for football cleats, mouthguard, game day socks, practice clothing, and any protective athletic supporters. There is a retainer $200 deposit for equipment, due at Equipment Pickup.
Volunteer Commitment -
Families are required to work 2 volunteer hours for each athlete associated with the Junior Bulldogs. A retainter $150 deposit is required, due at Equipment Pickup.
Both retainer deposits will be given back to families at the conclusion of the season, pending return of all equipment and minimum volunteer hours fulfilled.
